How do I log in to Waho?

Open the app and use the same sign-in method you registered with. Using a different method usually creates a second account rather than recovering the first one.

How do I log in on a new phone?

Install Waho from Google Play on the new device and sign in with the same method you originally used. This is why it’s worth registering with something you’ll keep access to.

Why does Waho keep logging me out?

Repeated sign-outs usually point to a session problem, aggressive battery optimisation killing the app in the background, or an outdated build. Update the app, then exempt Waho from battery optimisation in Settings → Apps → Waho → Battery .

I can’t log in — what should I check first?

In order: internet connection, whether the app is up to date on Google Play, whether a VPN is interfering, then the app cache. See the steps below.

I’ve lost access to my sign-in method — can I recover my account?

How Waho login works

Waho signs you in with whichever method you used to register. The important rule is simple:

If you're not sure which method you used, think about what you had to verify when you first signed up.

Moving to a new phone

Install Waho from Google Play on the new device.
Open it and choose the same sign-in method you used originally.
Complete verification if you’re asked for a code.
Check your profile, medals and message history look right before uninstalling from the old phone.

Keep the old device signed in until you've confirmed the new one works. It costs nothing and saves a lot of trouble.

Common login problems

“Network error” or the login screen hangs

Check that other apps can reach the internet.
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data — a captive Wi-Fi portal will block the app silently.
Turn off any VPN or DNS filter temporarily and try again.
Force-close Waho and reopen it.

Verification code doesn’t arrive

Wait a full two minutes before requesting another — repeated requests can trigger rate limiting and slow things down further.
Check signal strength if the code comes by SMS.
Check your spam folder if it comes by email.
Try again from a different network.

Login loop — it signs you in, then straight back out

Update Waho in Google Play. A stale build against an updated server is a classic cause.
Clear the app cache: Settings → Apps → Waho → Storage → Clear cache. Clear cache, not storage — clearing storage signs you out entirely.
Restart the phone.
Exempt Waho from battery optimisation: Settings → Apps → Waho → Battery → Unrestricted.
If it persists, uninstall and reinstall from Google Play, then sign in with your original method.

Account appears empty after signing in

Usually a sign of having signed in with a different method than you registered with, creating a fresh account. Sign out, then sign back in using the original method. If you genuinely can't get back in, contact feedback@waho.live.
